Return Policy

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes a customer may find that a product they ordered does not meet their needs adequately. MedArts is committed to working with our customers to find the best solution.

Damaged or Defective Merchandise

We at MedArts strive for perfection, but we do make mistakes occasionally. Once your package arrives please ensure it is not damaged or defective in any way. Notification of returns for damaged products must be made within 5 days of receiving your items. MedArts will pay return shipping costs and issue a full refund, including initial shipping costs, if the returned items were damaged, defective, or shipped in error, or due to incorrect product information listed on our website. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will work with you to find the quickest and easiest way to resolve the matter.


If you cancel your order after it has already been shipped, we will process it as a return and the below policies apply. Please note that most orders ship the same business day.


If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase simply return the item within 30 days for a merchandise refund or exchange, less a 20% restocking fee. Certain items (listed below) are not eligible for return or refund. Please call us if you have any questions regarding your return.
Shipping costs are not refundable. Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

All returns must be unopened and in resalable condition and contain the original packing material, manuals and blank warranty cards. Credit will not be granted for merchandise unsuitable for resale.  Merchandise that is not in its original packaging or has been marked, affixed with stickers, or with crushed packaging will not be accepted. We will inspect all returns upon receipt before processing your refund.

MedArts reserves the right to refuse refund on items that do not fulfill these requirements.

Please note that, due to health, safety and hygienic regulations, we cannot accept returns of the following items: Bath Safety Equipment, Mattresses, Cushions, Open Diapers, Underpads, Incontinence Products, Slings for Patient Lifts, Toilet Seats, Commodes, Undergarments, items that  come in contact with body or bodily  fluids etc. Custom made items may not be returned for refund.

How to Return Merchandise

To return an item call MedArts at (718) 436-6088 or Toll Free: (877) 267-6070, Monday-Friday, 9am -5pm for your Return Authorization (RA) Number.  RA numbers are valid for 10 business days from the date of issue. A return without an RA number will not be accepted.

Please package your return with care in its original outer packaging, as returns that have been damaged in transit will be evaluated as non-refundable. Be sure that the RA number is listed on the outside of the package, and a copy of the original invoice or packing slip is included. We cannot process your return without this documentation.

You can choose the shipper most convenient and economical for you. We recommend that you use a traceable shipping method (e.g. UPS, FedEx) to guarantee your refund in the rare event that your shipment gets lost or delayed. Our shipping address is:

MedArts will inspect the items upon arrival and evaluate the return. We will then issue credit in the same manner payment was originally made. The refund process may take up to 10 business days from time of receipt.
